I went out with crackmonkey and revjim (Matt and Daniel respectively) to the DFW Blogs 1 year anniversary happy hour out at the XPO lounge, which is right by Fair Park. I saw Toe-Moss (I think he’s stuph.com, but I dunno) who I hadn’t seen in maybe 5 years, Erica Lucci, an old high-school friend, and Tempest in a Teapot, her sister, and friend of many friends. There were other people there, but I didn’t actually know them, so I don’t remember names. *sigh* I have no memory whatsoever, so I guess it’s ok. It was interesting to see the social circles overlap, and fun to catch up and meet new people. The AC was good but was countered by the confined smoke. Outside were some mad visiuals on a projector, but we took off about 10pm just because we’re lamers and have work tomorrow. It’s odd… when you live out this way, getting to things like Fair Park really isn’t so bad of a drive.
