YOU MUST STOP AND LOOK BOTH WAYS BEFORE PROCEEDING.

Do you put your wheels on the first white line.
Do not park in the white box because you’re anticipating green.
Do not roll through it because you’re in the right lane.

What if you can’t see around the turn? THEN YOU STILL STOP BEHIND THE FIRST LINE. Once you verify there is no-one in the crosswalk, then you can inch up and look further before turning.

NO part of your vehicle should come into the crosswalk at any time if there is anyone in the crosswalk who might get to your vehicle in the next 10 seconds. If you have a stop-sign or a red light, then you stay out of the box if conflicting crosswalk traffic is queued up until you have verified that it is safe to all others for you to move your 2-ton transportation device.

Seriously, this is NOT negotiable. Do you really want me to crash into the hood of your car and then take every asset you possess, now, and into the future, just because you’re in a hurry, or messing with your radio?
